 The Martian is an American science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott from 2015, based on the novel The Martians of Andy Weir. The film is about the astronaut Mark Watney, who is left behind after an accident on a mission on Mars there and from then has to fight for its survival. Lead actor is Matt Damon.
